Services & Location

We cover the whole of Surrey but if you're just outside of this area in East or West Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, Berkshire or Greater London, please do contact us and we will try to help.

Pond Cleaning

Fish waste and natural detritus from other pond visitors and the environment can create a hazardous environment for your fish and other wildlife and also become unsightly for you.

During a typical pond clean, the team will carry out water quality checks, drain your pond, store your fish and wildlife safely in a temporary tank before removing debris, jet washing and hoovering. Any filter, pump and equipment will be cleaned and serviced. We will then check your fish are healthy, repot your plants before recommissioning the pond.

At the end of our visit, depending on the time of the year, we will add algae treatments to prevent any future build up. This will cause a temporary milky appearance to your pond water, this will dissipate naturally with the help of your filter installation.

Get in touch if you want us to help you keep your pond in beautiful condition, either as part of a regular maintenance and cleaning schedule or as a one-off clean.

We also offer a decommissioning service for customers who no longer wish to keep their water garden.

Aquatic Plants

We can advise you on your choice of aquatic plants which will give you a varied display throughout the year.
Plants are also great for your fish and wildlife providing shelter, perches and shaded areas and are a great help to pond visitors to get in and out of the water.

We regularly stock a small selection of aquatic plants including; Horsetail, Marsh Marigold, Iris, Water Lily, Lobelia and Arum Lily however on request we can source a wider variety.

Fish Health

We also offer a service of fish health diagnosis for external skin issues like fungus, parasites or bacterial infections.

We will observe the fish behaviour, check the water quality and visually inspect the fish in a small temporary tank.

Diagnosis can also be made by means of a mucus skin scrape which we can then view under a high power microscope to determine the cause of the distress. If parasites are found we can then discuss the treatments that may be available on the market. Parasites and diseases are becoming increasingly resistant to treatments and treating livestock always carry a risk. The fish owner will decide to treat their fish at their own risk.

It must be noted that the examination process can be very stressful to the fish and carries with it a certain amount of risk. As a result, we cannot be held responsible for any adverse effects this can have to the already unhealthy fish during or after the examination.

Please do call us to enquire about the cost for this service.
